even if you're not locking him up the way I was locked up, you're still wanting to keep him in your house/apartment/whatever, though, right? my point in agreeing with the other anon is that you're not giving him much of a choice in all this and if he dislikes you on top of that, the cycle's never going to end
seriously, sit down and have a talk with this kid and get everyone's issues worked out as much as possible
if that doesn't work, find another way, like finding someone he does want to hang around who can at least help him learn to survive on his own better
